IE Will Not Load

When I click on the icon for internet explorer on my
desktop, an hour glass appears and then goes away and
internet explorer never opens up.

I am using windows 98SE with the original version of
Internet Explorer that came with windows running.

Mark,

Have you tried lauching the executable for IE directly?
(Iexplore.exe)
You may do better posting to an IE5 newsgroup, as you cannot have IE4
with Win98 SE.
Try one of these:
